I like the idea of having a guitar that is truly different from the other ones I own if it's good it will get lots of playing time. It isn't at the top of most peoples' list, but I've always wanted one, being a fan of Tom Waits and Marc Ribot. Upon its reintroduction in 1946, the ES-125 changed in a number of ways including a wider body, a new P-90 pickup, and trapezoid inlays.

I don't know what it is exactly, but for whatever reason I haven't been able to get into it beyond its beauty.
